hammer down

this morning reverse brick up at 6am, 6:45 pch newport to seal beach and back 19 mi ride early before the sun burned off the marine layer.  then toss the bike in the truck and run streight out  into the ocean.  surfers are like what, who is the dude with the cap and no board? swim out, round huntington pier and back. run back to the truck, towl off and im gone. elapsed time 1hr 22min. too slow, throw in a 5k and it would have been a sprint tri all before most people got up, sweet.

so there it is i can totally do this before work.  iv'e finally decided my training is more important then the first meeting of the day. take that workout, the sweat and effort, exhaustion becomes sanity; oxygen fueled an athlete arrives at work hitting on all cylinders when others are waking up you've burned more calories then most will the entire day.

im truly blessed that i can get down to the beach and then be at work by 9. unfortunately the rest of the day will pale in comparison to the first two hours.
